China Visa |
|
|
I need to apply for my visa 3 months in advance (as I am leaving the uk in Jan and will not be in China until March.) which is the maximum that the embassy website says that you can apply in advance. Does anyone know the realities of applying for a chinese visa!?
Thanks in Advance

I used KTrailfinders for getting my chinese visa. It was back in less than a week. I went into the Kensington High Street branch as I lived close by at the time, but you could probably post it to them with special delivery. They charge a £22 service fee and the forms can be downloaded from their website.

It's easy to get a Chinese visa in Hong Kong. No visa required to enter HK itself, just a valid passport. Take 2 passport sized photos, fill out the visa application form (they're in dual English / Chinese), & hand it in with your passport. They have a 3 payment system for getting the visa within 3 days, 2 days, or 1 working day. You pay a 'rush' fee for 1 day.
To do it yourself, go to level 7 of the China Resources building in Wanchai (26 Harbour Road, HK island).
Alternatively, you can pay a small surcharge for a reputable travel agent in Kowloon or HK to do it for you.
