3 of us will be traveling in China in late sept. How is the best way to get from Yichang (end of cruise) to Guilin and from Yangshuo to Shanghai? Thanks! |

As I know, there are no direct flights and trains from Yichang to Guilin. You can take bus to Wuhan(4hours, CNY110 p.p), and then fly to Guilin. Or take train to Liuzhou, and then take bus or train to Guilin(2hours).
Yangshuo is a small town, and there is no airport. You can fly to Shanghai from Guilin. There are lots of buses between Yangshuo and Guilin (CNY10-15 p.p) |

I just check the timetable, there is a flight every day from Yichang to Guilin ,fliht No MU3397 ,dep:13:20 arri: 16:50
By train,
no direct train,but you can via many stations.
a: Yichang ----Changsha --Guilin 1019 kilos
b: Yichang ----Hengyang---Guilin 1019 kilos
c: Yichang----Zhuzhou-----Guilin 1019 kilos etc.
check with ticket office in the railway station to find out the fastest one or the cheapest one.Guilin to Yangshuo by bus as the last post Yangshuo to Shanghai. Go back Guilin first , and then fly to Shanghai,the fee is about cyn1300.
