Can anyone recommend good tour centres in Dali & Lijiang where we can rent mountain bikes, arrange river rafting & mountain trekking?

These days there are many tour guides in Lijiang, but not many for the surrounding areas. I would suggest first going to Lijiang and finding one through the very friendly tourist office located in Old Town. You can rent good mountain bikes at many of the shops and cafes in old town for a very low price and the bikes are fair. Taking this tour by yourself is excellent. Dali and Lijiang are really well worth a visit. If there are some problems in communication, you can seek the local agent for help. I have been there by myself last year.
Most travel agencies in Lijiang will supply the bicycles for travellers.
River rafting and mountain trekking is necessary in their arrangement for you!
