I would like to pick up a pair of boots that will keep my feet warm and dry and not deplete my wallet. I'd also like some thin silk underwear, not the heavy spandex stuff. Any suggestions? A general address or directions would be great.
Has anyone bought wool or had suits made? I have clothes made in china , but the selection of suiting fabric is limited and definitely not Chinese prices at 200 RMB or more per meter. I can get imported Italian wool in the states for less.
Any great events going on in Beijing that I might want to check out?
One last question - anybody tried to purchase train tickets at the main train station. Should I be a wimp and go to the foreigners' window? |
