solve currency exchange problem for travelers in Shanghai |
Hi everybody I need help. I came from Korea with a bunch of korean Won and I was told in the Bank of China that now they 'don't have an exchange rate', so I don't know exactly what this means and if I'll have to take my Wons out of the country. Does anyone know if it is possible to give some value to my korean green papers here in China? Thank you for a quick answer, I'm kind in trouble because of that, I got paid in korean wons... Thanks |

You will be able to change them, but maybe only some branches of Bank of China will change them, failing that, the larger hotels in the city centre all have exchange facilities. |

I have changed Won in China, and have during my years there, have met many Koreans changing money. Unless the rules have recently changed, you should be able to swap it. |
