Me and a few buddies are planning to do one of the package tours to Beijing/Xian over choose ok.I would really be interested to hear of peoples experiences on these trips, who the best operators to go with are and whether you think its better to go on a 4 or 5 day trip cheers for any help

Personally I'd say 4-5 days to do both Beijing AND Xian isn't enough time. I'd stick to one or the other. Both are very very interesting but I think only spending 2 days in each won't do either of them any justice whatsoever. I dread to think how jampacked the itinerary is even if you just stick to both cities' greatest hits.
