Tour group or not on a trip around Chengdu |

I will be traveling in october with a friend, we're thinking of Guilin, Shaolin Si, Xi'an, and area around Chendu. Is it wiser to join tours for these, or is it fairly easy to do on your own, in terms of figuring out where and how to go since we don't speak Chinese. Thanks, everyone in advance!!!

I think it doesn't matter you can speak English or not,as the most hotel and traisport has their well- English staffs,but the problem is I hope you tour to some better place in Guilin like Yangshuo and Li river,you also can make cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.
