I am thinking of adding Beijing to my travels, but most sights tell me I won't be able to stay in hostels or find cheap lodging that is acceptible. Is this true? |

There's tons of hostels... don't worry...
Just a hint, ALWAYS have where you want to go written down in Chinese if you need to take a taxi (which is likely). Hostels/hotels generally have address cards for that purpose. |
