Hi I'm planning to travel from Shanghai to Ulaanbaatar and I wonder if it is easy to buy tickets .when you are I Shanghai I have read that it is cheaper to buy there than through a western travel agency. I would like to know ,how much it costs ?because the only prices I have seen is through agencies. Because the date when I'm going to travel is not set .I would prefer to buy it in Shanghai .you have to book them in time if so how much earlier than the departure date. |

There are3-4 direct trains one week, one Mongolian and Chinese depending on the season.
Now, in the end of this year Mongolian rail said to raise it's part of the multiplier by 65%, Chinese did not raise it for a while., Chinese and Mongolian trains won't have the same price anymore.
