I know recently on somebody China page that when he arrived at the
airport the place was swarming with Mossies. Are Mosquitos a problem in
this river area, and if so at what time of year? I need some information . |

I couldn’t forget there .I had to use mosquito net over my bed . That was about March to April .
Just follow precautionary advice avoid malaria risks including mosquito repellents and medication if necessary. coming to China in summer . |

I've been living in Guilin for 5 years and I don't think mosquito is a problem in most time of the year.Because the river and the city is very clean and the nights are cool here.Maybe you need a mosquito net in summer ,but if you live in a hotel ,you needn't worry about that .Hoping to see you iin Guilin. |
