I will be leaving in Urumqi tomorrow . I would like to find out some info on money card in Xinjiang. Do they take Foreign money cards ?

My suggest exchange any money you plan to spend AND cash your travellers checks At The Airport.
Or you can bring your cards the Hotels and Big department Shops accepts Visa Cards . You can easily change the Dollar to Yuan (RMB) in Banks or at Hotels (star level hotels) .
When I was in Urumqi last year while I went to Bank I found many people were standing outsie of Bank of China , sometimes they can offer you higher rate then Bank . I was prefer to change with them instad of standing on long ques . |
