Viewing Autumn leaves on a tour to Suzhou |
|
|
I heard there is a nice mountain in Suzhou for excellent views of red autumn leaves.. Tian Ping Shan or Tai Ping Shan.. I am not too sure.
Can any tell me how to get there from the Bus Stataion? ( I am travelling in from Shanghai)
And I am wondering if it is the right time to go now? Are the leaves all red now?
Thanks in advance! Victor |

It's Tian Ping Shan, located near the suburb of Suzhou City. Easy to go there by bus either from the Railway Station or Long Distance Bus Station. About 30 minutes ride.
Leaves usually becomes red in late Nov. But the views are not so excellent.

Forget the Autumn leaves and visit the most beautiful little gardens in the world.
Suzhou is famous for its gardens and they will repay a lot of time spent in them..It took me three weeks of VERY slow visits to enjoy them all and I am going back again. |
