Xi'an,a stopover for a train travel |

our daughter is studying mandarin in hangzhou at middlebury college's school there. we will meet her in shanghai in december for a nice trip including hangzhou, suzhou, xian and beijing. i think pingyao would be a lovely addition.we will visit xian . will go from there to beijing. can we take a train from xian to pingyao , stay a while and then train from pingyao to beijing? You can get pingyao directly by train it takes about ten hours ,the whole route is 543 kilometers.
From pingyao to Beijing you also can take train it takes about 10~13 hours
because difference between the two trains, the whole route is 616 kilometers.
