I will fly from xian to Shanghai to US, and wanted to know if anyone has had the experience of exchanging RMB for USD at the Pudong Airport.

My problem is basically that I don't want to spend time for exchanging at Bank of China . I am not sure how much should I keep with myself , I need to pay for tips and buy some svaners while in Shanghai.

So if anyone knows what the rules are in my situation, please let me know.
