Beijing or Shanghai |

I intend to be going to sichuan in the coming fall with my family ,but due to the big earthquake in the sichuan region, we have to change our original plan .Now we have two options to choose , to visit either Beijing or Shanghai . which should we go ?Our time is limited so we can only choose the one which is better for sight seeing,shopping, relaxing.
please help!!!! |

Shanghai is good for shopping .You can find the modern face of china from here
but I Prefer to visit Beijing.most of the famous places in china gether in this city,such as the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, Tian'an Mén Square, and the Great Wall .i think without them no trip to the country would be complete. |
