hello all,
To get a better understend on tibet I am planning a trip to tibet in july from shanghai with my friends. If anyone who could offer me some advice about the following, I would appreciate it.
- What are the special places outside Lhasa to visit ?
- which are the popular Hotels in Lhasa?
- I hear renting a truck can get expensive. Can I rent a truck in Lhasa at a more reasonible rate, or is it better to make arrangements beforehand?
we would like to do this trip by our own,but I don't know whether it is possible .
so any feedback anyone can offer me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

The most special place in Lhasa is The Potala Palace. it symbolizes the fusion of secular and religious power in Tibet.If time permited,you can visit Jokhang Temple (Dazhao Si) and you can also fully explore Tibet's spiritual heart
Tibet Jingmao Mansion Lhasa is the popular hotel in Lhasa,becouse of it's convenient transportation.It is located in the flourishing center in Lhasa, close to shopping.
Lhasa Hotel is another good hotel in Lhasa. it is next to Summer Palace |
