Anyone knows of any nice residential area in Dali, or in Yunnan, (preferably in Dali) please let me know. Thank you for your time. Dominic |

The old Dali town is a nice place to reside. Depends on how long you plan to reside there and what type of visa you are on, one could rent a room from the locals. Alternatively, you can get a full apartment in XiaGuan, the prefecture city from 400-700yuan/month, 3 rooms with bath. However, all foreigners could only really rent an apartment and reside in Dali if one has proper residential permit with the PSB. |
