A Nikon D40x kit with 18-55 lens is around 4500 rmb in Beijing before bargening.
That is approx 1500 cheaper then back home.
I know that Nikon does not have world warranty. |

Canon and Nikkon have china rep offices where you can return stuff if something goes wrong,as long as everything is new and sealed it should be okay Mine came with an official warranty card which the shop stamped with some sort of a seal. |

I just bought the Nikon D40x with bag and 1GB mem card for 6200 yuan, near Wudouko. Everything seems to be good, though if i had a little more money I'd have bought the D80. |

My wife and I both own Nikon D200s . She bought his in China. i bought in US We're both extremely satisfied with our cams. She paid much less but I am happy to have everything in English. She is Chinese so the Chinese instruction manual suits her. |

I dont chooseto buy at Zhong guan cun. Head down to the Wu ke song photo market - The stalls near the entrance are the real deal and you'll have way more choice. |
