What is the best time for visiting Beijing? Considering weather - not too hot and not too cold.

Yes, October would be nice. Just not the 1st week! I think the middle of October is the best |

Actually October is the best time to visit Beijing ,but from 1st Oct. to 7th Oct. is the National Holiday plus Golden Week of China . These days thousands of Chinese are moving around .
You will feel sorry to visit these days , everywhere is crowded and have to wait on the long ques in front of the entrance gate of scenic spots .
My advice is : Come to Beijing in the end of September avoid from "Golden Week " .
2nd Oct. leaves from Beijing , you will have chance to see night Scenery of Tiananmen Square in the National Day.
