Kashgar karakul lake ! |

Hi !
We will be in Kashgar from 9th September this year and need to be in Shanghai 16th so we would like to do at least an overnight stay at Karakul Lake and some tour in Kashgar Urumqi and so on .
Is this something we would do on our own from Kashgar using local transport or would we hire a guide.
What about Kashgari Mahmud is this something worth a visit on our way back ?
Any other suggestions. |

I have been there last year , we were planning to stay there one night . It was so cold in the evening we changed our mind and heading to Tashkurgan .
It was birliant idea to visit the small city (town) insted of staying around the lake , the scenery from Karakul to Tashkurgan is marvelouse . Don't west your time in the lake . |
