Jade comes at all prices. You get what you pay for, but the expensive stuff is appreciated only by true connoisseurs. If you compare a HK$20 pendant with a HK$200 maybe you can't tell the difference anyway, so why pay a higher price?
HK & Macau are approximately comparable in prices. Why not go across the border - Xinjiang or Qinghai - and buy at Chinese prices. They'd be lower.
I paid less than 200 RMB for a good-looking bangle. I also have a bracelet which cost 4 RMB per bead, 19 beads altogether, free stringing. |
