I have already booked my flight from shenzhen to Guilin but I have only 3 hours once I get into HK airport

To get to Shenzhen airport. I have always taken the overland border corssing
coach but sometimes it takes a while. Is the ferry to shekou port fast?

It says on the website u dont need to go through immigration if you take the ferry but I will need to go through surely to arrivals to get my bags.

I think three hours is very tight either way.

For the ferry, you don't need to go thru immigration to pickup your luggages. When you buy the ferry ticket, they will ask if you have any luggages.

If so, you can give them your luggage tickets and they will pickup them and transport them to the ferry directly. The first piece is first but you need to pay 20HKD for each extra piece
