Is there anyone who has travelled to Shangri-la i.e recently? What is it like?
and roughly how many days should you spend there? We are currently in Lijiang, so would catch the early bus there and at the moment, were allowing an overnight stop? Or are there other recommendations, open to all suggestions.. |

I have been there for about 3-4 days in September 2007, and will be making a brief stopover later this month, enroute to Deqin and Meilixueshan.
If you're hiring a vehicle and not planning to trek, I think 2 days for the area (up till Feilai Si) would be enough.
