hi guys,
I am looking at taking the train from shanghai to lahasa in early March 2008 without a permit. what are the chances of success? Once in lahasa i am planning to travel overland to Nepal via everest base camp on or arround the 5th of March.
Can anyone recomend a good company to use and also whats the best place to find travel companions for this trip? Thanks |

Best place to find travel companions is to go around the hotels/hostels/guesthouses frequented by travellers and post your request on the message boards.
