Ideas Changsha to Qingdao? |

dear all.
My wife and I will be in china late Jan for two weeks. And I would love to know some suggestions: My questions are- I need to be in Changsha for 2 days then I have 4 days free before needing to be in Qingdao ( plan 2 days there but could make it longer). What to do and where to go?
I like the train, but may be too far to train all the way. Happy to fly then base myself somewhere.
A bit stuck on ideas and leaving in 2 weeks, so trying to get sorted. Grateful for any thoughts. |

Fast D train (8 hours) or budget airline flight to Shanghai. Spend 2 days, overnight train to Taishan for another 2 days.
Then move on by bus to Qingdao.
