water villages near Shanghai? |

I will be in Shanghai in late Jan for a week. I would like to visit the nearby water villages.
Read from book that there are two ways to get there, by air-con tour buses and local buses. The price are really different. So which way is better if I want to take a day tour. Where can I find the bus schedule.

hi.
Take Hu Qing Zhu Bus close to the cross of Yan'an Rd and Chengdu Rd to a small watertown Zhujiajiao.
That is the best for one day tour without too many bustling tourists around. But do not expect driver or conductor knowing much English, though they know where you should get off. |
