i am going to hong kong in jan 08 and have decided (through much debate) to go straight to kowloon, and nathan road where i have booked our hotel.
Was wondering how long it takes to get from HK international to nathan road and what is the best way to get there!

There is an airport train which will take about 25 minutes to the Kowloon station. But it costs about 90 HK dollar, which is 12-13 USD. And after arriving in Kowloon you still have to take a taxi or walk for aprox 20 minutes to Nathan Road.
Although it requires 2 switches you can take the airport express to Tsing Yi, take the MTR to Lai King and switch to the red line. Don't worry, it sounds more difficult than it is.
You can take the Jordan Road exit I guess, where Chungking Mansions is a short walk away.
It will probably take around 5-10 minutes more than the direct airport express (so about 30-35 minutes total) but it is cheaper. And faster than the airport bus. And more fun by the way |
