hi guys.
I've been in Guangzhou almost 3 months on a tourist visa.. I *heard* that 90 days is the maximum on a tourist Visa. I have some business opportunities but won't know for sure where in China
I'll be or for which company. I also won't know until January. My Visa's 90 days is up on Dec 28th. What are my options and what is the cost?

My advice to you would be to try to get an extension to your tourist visa in the meantime - though I'm not exactly sure how this is done. Search this forum, I'm sure I've read about it before here.
If not, take up a short-term (6-month) teaching contract and make arrangements well in advance with this company in the meantime. A little practical future advice too: unless you have someone in the know helping you with administration/red tape, expect nothing but headaches - especially when doing things at the last moment.
