Olympic venues in Beijing ? |

Is it possible to go to the Olympic venues such as "the water cube" and "birds nest",even just from a distance for picture taking?
How far are these complex from the forbidden city?
We will travel to Beijing after Christmas and my son would like to be photograph in the said places.

hi.
It's no problem to take pictures from a distance! it's about 7Km from Forbidden city. It better to see on the way to Summer Palace or GreatWall.
