hi there.
my family and i am planning to cruise the Yangzte from Wuhan to Chongqing or the other with my parents. 3 of us together.
How much will the shortest tour costs and can I do it on my own ?Will it be cheaper to book a tour in Wuhan or Chongqing ?Must I join a tour ?

Better off to take a domestic cruise ship down the river from Chongqing to Yichang, then transfer a bus to Wuhan for 4.5 hours.
Because downstream takes a less day than upstream. The domestic cruise ship is not expensive, it is not necessary to join a tour group.
