i want to begin planning a 2-4 week hike along the great wall for next year. can anybody offer any kind of information which may be useful in planning this kind of trip. can anybody reccomend a good section over that kind of time period. what difficulties are we likely to run into in terms closed and guarded sections. what are the best ways around these kind of problems? when would be the best time of year to take a hike of this kind?

there is likely to be 3 of us on the hike and we're all young fit and healthy!

any info at all will be greatly appriciated!

I think u should come arround august ,it is the best time as not hot and not cold , u can bike in beijing or shanghai that has the longgest part of Great wall
