dear all;
We'll be returning from Oz early jan 08, and having stopover in H.K. Any advice on area/Hotel to stay. Been looking at Kowloon hotel or metropark?
Also whats weather like then?

hello
If you like shopping and don't mind the crowds on the street, Tsimshatsui (TST) and Causeway Bay are very convenient locations.
The Kowloon Hotel is quite nice and is situated at an excellent location for shops and transport. There are a few Metropark hotels in Hong Kong - which one have you been looking at?
The weather can vary. It's mostly dry and cool in the winter. Temperature can get down to single digits but it's not unusual for it to get up to the mid or high 20s.
