visa extension in china. |

hi guys.
I am in need of some help having to do with Chinese visas. I ma U.S. citizen and will be flying into China from Vietnam in Mid Febl.
I would like to spend 3 or more months there traveling around, but it looks like I can only get a 30 day visa. I've read that I can apply for extensions up to a total of 90 days. Is this true? Where is a good place to apply for extensions? I guess all I am asking is, how can I stay in China for at least 90 days?
Please help! |

hi;
According to Chinese laws, you can only stay in China 30 days, and the validity of your visa is 90 days, so if u want to stay in China longer, you have to go to the Police Administration Bureau to extend.
Any more detail information you can consult the the Chinese Ambassy in U.S.
But the period you plan to travel in China is the time of 2008 Olympic, so I suggest that you should arrange your schedule reasonable, especially the transportaion and accomodation.
Wish u a good Journey in China. |
