hi there!
Anyone can recommend me a budget place to stay in Putuoshan?
I have made lot of researches on Internet and it seems that it really lacks in cheap options.

hi.
Prices on Putuo Shan are high at weekends and during public holidays when all the Chinese go. It's a particularly popular spot for weekend breaks right through the summer.
If you can avoid the weekends expect 50%-70% discounts on published prices at normal hotels if you negotiate amiably on arrival, which brought some rooms down to under ¥200 when I was there (admittedly a few years ago now).
At that time local people also greeted you as you left the ferry with photo albums of rooms in private houses. Typically (not at weekends) these were ¥40 per bed with common bath.
