Could you introduce some interesting cities or places near Shanghai? I will go there two or three days on the national Holiday. They should be economical and I can get there by train two or three hours. |

You can go to Suzhou and Wuzheng . Suzhou is famouse for its elegent classical gardens , the number of which is over 60 today. They are: Lion Garden,Garden of Couple's Retreat,Garden of Harmony.five peak Garden and Lingering Garden.
Suzhou is alos famouse for it is Silk , you can buy the best quality silk from Suzhou. |

It takes 1.5 hours to Suzhou by bus . There are many fast trains , it takes 50mins. Transportation is very convenient between Shanghai and Suazhou .
Suzhou -A major tourist city in south China, features classic gardens and elegant natural scenery, was praised as a "paradise on earth".
Visit Humble Administrator's Garden -the largest private garden in Suzhou and one of the four most famous classical gardens in China.
Then visit lingering Garden -the best garden in Suzhou as well as being one of the four most famous gardens in China.
Proceed to visit the Garden of the Master of the Nets -the smallest of the Suzhou residential gardens, yet it is the most impressive one.
Visit Grand Canal -part of 1700-kilometer-long China Grand Canal starts from Beijing and ends in Hangzhou. |
