Getting cell phone recharger in Beijing |
|
|
I am coming to China for a short trip this December.
I have friend around China with whom I need to keep connected, my question is is it easy to find recharge cards for my cell phone? are they work with any international cell phone? by the way I do not know much Chinese. |

One thing about traveling in China is the language barrier--even signs are incomprehensible.
To which cities you will be travelling? in big cities like Beijing and Shanghai you can easily survive even you do not know any Chinese, but in small cities you you may have problems.
Cell phone is very popular in china now, therefore accessories for the cell phone is available widely including recharge card. You can try to get one in the airport on arrival, next one you can get it in shops in subways or from those funny little shops that seem to sell everything, or from the post office.

I think you can insist the person who sells it install it on your cell phone and make a test call to your friend then pay the money. In most cases it will work, unless you are having an ancient cell phone:).
By the way, once you've bought a card, keep it in your wallet. That way you can show it to people if you need to buy another one. |
