Hello all,
reading through there seems to be conflicting statements. I would like to take a bus from Chengdu - Lhasa and then from Lhasa - Golmud.
Is it possible to get a bus from Chengdu - Lhasa. How much does this cost?
The bus from Lhasa - Golmud. Can this ticket be bought in Lhasa and what is the approximate price?

hi
You could rent Toyota 4500(high quality of land cruiser) from Pangolin off-road sports club in Chengdu .if you rent a car by yourself ,it will cost much money about 700Yuan/day .so you could join Pangolin's budget travel to share the fees.
while in Lhasa,you could ask the guides for driving you to anyplace you want.
