HELP:travel to Tibet overland from Kathamandu |

I would be very grateful if anyone could give me websites and prices for tours to Tibet overland from Kathmandu.
Is an organised tour the only way I can enter Tibet?
How much would a 1-2 week tour cost? Or could I get a three day tour and then leave it in Lhasa and do my own thing (permits permitting)?
Can I organise this easily in Kathmandu (including visas, permits etc.)?
Also, how much should I budget for per day in Tibet?

I'm a guide of Pangolin off-road sports club in Chengdu.
you should get some information form the following website about overland form Kathmandu:http://www.tibetfamily.com
If you start your trip from China Chengdu,it will cost you about 300Yuan/day.It would convenient for your trip to join our organised tour. we could arrange your visas, permits etc. while in Lhasa ,you also could ask our guides for driving you to anywhere your want. |
