ideas of 10 hours tour in HK |

I will be spending about 10 hours in Hong Kong in early May, on my way from Townsville Australia to the UK. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I can go see or do in that short time? Shopping is not really my thing, but I'd like to visit some Chinese Gardens or something. Any ideas would be great!!! Thanks |

Actually there are some beautiful gardens and open spaces in Hong Kong.
However, with 10 hours to spare and based at the airport, I recommend a visit to the Big Buddha. It is on top of the mountain overlooking the Airport - and there is also a Monastery there which serves vegetarian food. Views are spectacular if you get a good day - and not a high rise in sight. |
