Beijing is the no-doubt answer. Shanghai is just an ordinary modern city without history at all, if you like this kind of cities, you can go Hongkong instead, much better than Shanghai. Beijing is the city with over 3000 years history esp. as the capital from Ming Dynasty, there are too many ancient sites you need to visit, and there is also many good places of natural scene. if you choose Shanghai, you will see nothing about China at all. |
