explore the Great Wall while traveling in Beijng |

Would half a day be enough for exploring the Great Wall (from the morning till 2:00pm)?
Does the great wall start from Beijing or do I have to take a bus to get there?
I heard something about a cable car that goes along the Great Wall, have any details?

Half a day is too short to visit Great Walll, the Wall is very far from Beijing urban area, 50 to 60km maybe. You can take bus or train, Train is setting off in Xi Zhi Men. many buses can get to the Wall. |
