suggestions, and help required. I am flying from Hanoi to Guilin next week. and l'll arrive in Guilin at 9-30pm. By the time l get through the usual immigration etc.. that will be maybe 10-15pm. At this time of night about 25 Km from Guilin, l could well be in the doggy do do`s. Could anybody suggest a place, a guesthouse, hotel, etc.. where l might be able to get a room, at this time of night? And perhaps if possible one that might meet me at the airport. l am heading for Yangshou.

Last year we stayed at the 3 star Osmanthus Hotel almost in the centre of Guilin. OK for the night before you get to MUCH cheaper accommodation in Yangshou next day. You can book online and solve your late night arrival by advising at booking you will be arriving late. Contact them via www.sinnohotel.com at $31.00 per night its a pretty good hotel. They have a free airport shuttle service which makes the hotel price even more acceptable.
