Customs at Beijing airport? |

I am flying into PEK in a couple of weeks, and I need to schedule another flight to Dalian from there. Does anyone know approx. how much time I need to allow to go through customs, and any other time consuming things I should consider before I book the flight to Dalian. I am assuming that the Beijing airport is where I will go through customs upon arrival. Is this correct?
Any help and tips are appreciated. |

Personally I would allow at least 2 hours connection time. Immigration can take 45 minutes (more in the morning rush...about 0830 to 1100...when the European flights all come in). You rarely wait for luggage because of the immigration queues though.
There are plenty of cafes in the departure hall at the airport. |
