i know they have them in the springtime in korea and japan, but do they have these beautiful blossoms anywhere in china come springtime? i live near shanghai and would hate to miss them if they can be seen somewhere. |

I've been in Beijing early May and have seen spectacular trees at the temple of heaven and Beihai park. I can't say for sure if they were cherry trees. May is also a good time to see beautiful peony displays. I've also seen spectacular trees blooming that I think were wisteria trees along Zhongguancun Lu on the way to the Summer Palace and elsewhere. May is my favorite month for visiting Beijing. |
