Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone can reccomend cheap fligts from Shenzhen to guilin. Am heading there this thursday from hong kong...at the mo the CTS is quoting me HK$650...is that good or are there cheaper ot there and how???
Secondly is there anywhere particulary nice that anybody can reccommend thats cheap as well in guilin or yangshuo????
Finally is there anywhere else besides chengdu thats good for seeing pandas???

Flights in China are not priced by competition in the way most western locations. No discount airlines are operating with no frills service. You could look to see if there is a substantial difference if you were to fly out of Guang Zhou, but I think it is pretty much the same. It is possible to get there cheaper by using the train or bus, but the time will increase substantially.
Both Guilin and Yangshuo have an abundance of cheap hotels and this time of the year they should have lots of vacancies. Negotiate at all the hotels and you should be able to get a good rate. |
