I have a week off for the Chinese May Holiday 5/1-5/8 and I'm going to be studying in Shanghai at the time. i'd like to take a week vacation to a nice beach somewhere- (currently its VERY cold in Beijing and I feel I'm going to need some sun by then). Thinking Maybe Cambodia or Vietnam- anyone have some lesserknown beach resorts that are easily accessibly by flight from Shanghai? Or even some nicer beaches in other areas around southern China or Southeast asia. Thanks! |

In China there is Sanya, Hainan. If you are looking for somewhere close that is your best bet. But if you want to hit SE Asia, try Boracay in the Philippines. |
