Is 3 weeks enough for a trip to Tibet? what about permit ? |

1. I will have about 18 days to spend in Tibet (I already subtracted travel time). Is this enough time, or will it seem like a tease and perhaps I should go somewhere else? I'm used to spending months traveling, but unfortunately, I'm now quasi-settled with a job  .
2. Can you arrange plane travel and permit before arriving in Chengdu?
3. I can either go to Tibet in late March/early April or May. Is one preferable over the other? |

18 days will be a good amount of time to spend in Tibet. It may be possible to arrange a permit in advance in Chengdu.18 days will give you time to see the most important places except Mt. Kailash. |
