What's it like to walk at Huangshan (once you leave the cable cars)?
- How far are the different sights from the hotels?
- Are the roads/paths easy/difficult/dangerous to walk on?
- Is there some transportation, or do you have to walk everything?

I really really like to go there, but I'm travelling with a 3- year old and a husband with bad knees.
They both had no trouble walking the Wall on the 'up and down but not too steep' sections for 2 hours.
What do you think, should we do it?

If you stay at the hotel at the North Sea you will have fairly easy access to many of the better sights and views. Some of the best are literally just a few hundred metres from the hotel. It is also possible to hire porters to carry people who can't walk themselves. They go for around 600 yuan a day, I was told. Some of the pathways are very easy to walk on, whereas others are quite difficult climbs that someone with a weak knee probably will have problems with. Some of the sights and viewpoints are far from any accomodation, whereas others, as I said, are close to the hotels at North and West seas.
