Is it too cold right now to see the great wall? I'll only be in Beijing for a week and the forcast says snow for most of those days. Should I look for a tour with a heated bus? information please.

Too bad you weren't here in Beijing on the 15th--we had snow off and on for most of the day. I'm sure the Wall was gorgeous but a bit slippery. Surprisingly, it's not that cold right now--mostly just below and above freezing. And not much wind in the last week (the wind is what makes things miserable). A heated bus is not a bad idea, but a crowded bus with the windows closed will be just about as effective. |
