Xiamen Hotel Information
As one of the most pleasant cities in China, and a pretty seaside resort, there is a good selection of accommodation in Xiamen. Most hotels here are dotted around the southern and southwestern part of the city, close to most of the major sights and opposite picturesque Gulangyu Island, which is home to some good hotels in itself.
If you have strict requirements for standard services and good facilities,the Mandarin Hotel Xiamen, the only five star one in the city, may be the best choice, but the four star Gulangyu-Island-based Crowne Plaza Harbour View Xiamen also offers comparable standards in what is perhaps a more charming location.
Mid-range hotels are in no shortage in the city. The Lujiang Hotel attracts numerous guests, coming here for the pretty location along the seafront, offering grand views of Gulangyu Island and close to the busiest commercial center--Zhongshan Lu. Another good hotel is the Xiamen Miramar Hotel in the heart of the business district.
For those on a tight budget, the bets choices are either the Xiamen Huaming Hotel just opposite the railway station, or the Singapore Hotel near Zhongshan Park.
